JB Trade Scanner is built to collect as little as possible.

What stays on your PC

Screenshots of the trade area, your trade history, inventory, watchlist and settings are stored only on your computer (in %APPDATA%\JBTradeScanner). They are never uploaded.

What the app sends

• Value updates: the app downloads the public value list from JBValues.com. No personal data is sent.
• Account checks: the app asks our server whether your account has bought JB Trade Scanner, using a sign-in token for your PC.

Your account

When you sign in with Google we store your Google account ID, email address, name and profile picture, plus your purchases and the PCs you've signed in on. We use this only to unlock the app for you. We never see your Google password.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to run your account, and no advertising or tracking cookies:

• jbts_session: keeps you signed in. With "Keep me signed in" it lasts 30 days; with "Only this visit" it's deleted when you close your browser.
• jbts_consent: remembers which of those two you picked (1 year).

You can change your choice anytime with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Payments

Payments are handled by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive your email and order details, never your full card number.
